Although the standard Tk library has many useful widgets, they are far from complete. The <a class="reference internal" href="#module-Tix" title="Tix: Tk Extension Widgets for Tkinter"><code class="xref py py-mod docutils literal notranslate"><span class="pre">Tix</span></code></a> library provides most of the commonly needed widgets that are missing from standard Tk: <a class="reference internal" href="#Tix.HList" title="Tix.HList"><code class="xref py py-class docutils literal notranslate"><span class="pre">HList</span></code></a>, <a class="reference internal" href="#Tix.ComboBox" title="Tix.ComboBox"><code class="xref py py-class docutils literal notranslate"><span class="pre">ComboBox</span></code></a>, <a class="reference internal" href="#Tix.Control" title="Tix.Control"><code class="xref py py-class docutils literal notranslate"><span class="pre">Control</span></code></a> (a.k.a.
